Replacement pre-filter for 6000, 6500QL and 7500 series respirators
When fitted correctly, the 3M Particulate Filter 5P71 (07194) is used with the appropriate cartridges for a variety of uses including spray paint application, lacquer application, petrochemical manufacturing and chemicals, pesticide spraying and agricultural work for concentrations of no more than 10 times the permissible exposure limit with half masks, or no more than 50 times the permissible exposure limit with full masks. Full face masks must be quantitatively fit tested to be assigned a characteristic protection factor greater than 10 in negative pressure mode. Use the 603 adapter only if protection against particles is required. Do not use if the atmosphere presents an immediate danger to life or health (DIVS).
