Variable Speed Palm Router (1.0 HP)
The Colt PR20EVS variable speed routerfrom Bosch is a small tool that combines power, precision and versatility. It has a 1 HP 5.6 Amp motor that runs at a variable speed of 16,000 to 35,000 RPM. The speed adjustment wheel is ergonomically mounted on the top of the tool. The router is equipped with an electronic constant response system that detects heavy load demands and then increases the power to keep the RPM constant at the selected value. It features an electronic soft-start design, which reduces starting torque. Adjusting the depth is also very simple: just align and lower the motor and lock the router in position using the locking lever. Micrometric adjustments are just as easy, thanks to the wheel located on the rear base of the router. It accepts standard cutters with 6.35 mm (1/4 in.) shank for maximum flexibility and with cutting diameters up to 33.33 mm (1-5/16 in.). The motor housing allows comfortable use thanks to its overmolded rubber handle that fits the shape of the hand. The included sturdy aluminum fixed base is durable, strong and precise.
