Exterior wood oil - Exterol 050
OIL FOR EXTERIOR WOOD WITH WATER-REPELLENT PROTECTION.
EXTEROL by Carver is an impregnating oil for wood of natural origin specially designed for the protection of exterior surfaces. This product is suitable for all types of wood species. It is particularly effective for treating raw wood and protecting previously treated furniture. It is recommended for both professional and DIY use. EXTEROL 050 is available in 10 different color variants and these can be mixed together as desired, depending on the desired color intensity and tone. EXTEROL exterior wood oil has anti-slip properties which have been tested by the Giordano Certification Institute in Italy, in accordance with UNI CEN/TS 15676: 2008 standards.

- PREPARATION :
Sand the surface with 80-100 grit abrasives by removing any possible traces of oil, wax or pre-existing varnish.
Then clean the dust thoroughly.
Shake EXTEROL 050 well to obtain optimal dispersion of opacifying substances and pigments.
APPLICATION :
Apply the product using a brush, a microfiber applicator or a cotton cloth.
After 10 to 15 minutes, rub the treated surface with a cotton cloth to help penetrate the pores of the wood and remove any excess oil.
After 8 and before 24 hours, a second coat of oil can be applied, without sanding.

DRYING:
Light traffic: 24-48 hours.
Complete drying: 10-15 days.
COVERING POWER:
On planed wood: 120 to 300 ft 2 /liter depending on the type of wood to be protected.
Raw wood or sawn wood : calculate 50% additional product compared to planed wood.

CONSERVATION :
2 to 3 years in an airtight container. The storage space should be dry and slightly cool.
ATTENTION :
After use, cotton cloths impregnated with products must be immersed in water before being thrown away in order to avoid self-combustion .
You can also dry the laundry flat.
