Parquet oil - Environment

Blanchon's Environment Oil is a natural, hybrid and impregnating vegetable oil, containing a water base. Environnement oil retains the natural look of the wood without adding a blond effect. Simple and practical, Environment Oil is applied directly to the wood with a roller. A perfect finish without wiping or polishing. The application is also possible with a spray gun, on furniture, worktops, woodwork and vertical surfaces. Environment Oil is easy to maintain and refresh. Odorless and easy to apply, it dries quickly allowing you to finish a floor in less than a day. Cautious traffic is possible after 12 noon.

Preparation:

The wood must be clean and free of all traces of old finish. Sand the wood with a 100 or 120 sandpaper, to open the pores of the wood and facilitate absorption. Dust thoroughly. Shake the product well.

Application:

Apply in 3 thin coats, with a microfiber roller 6 mm, use a brush for the edges. Oil levels immediately.

IMPORTANT: the slightly milky appearance of ENVIRONMENTAL OIL disappears in a few moments during drying.

Wait approximately 1 hour between coats. Do not exceed more than 48 hours between coats.

A light sanding of the surface with 180 sandpaper, before the last coat, eliminates the small roughnesses of the wood, thus allowing to obtain a superb appearance and facilitating maintenance.

Local editing:

Sand vigorously with a fine abrasive paper at the deteriorated places before making a local application (1 or 2 coats).

Complete renovation:

Lightly sand the entire surface, remove dust and apply a thin layer of OIL ENVIRONNEMENT, natural or tinted, with a roller.
