Metallic pigments for epoxy - EVO
Metallic color pigments are composed of mica or aluminum particles, embedded with various color pigments. They are used to create pearly, reflective and iridescent material effects. They will add impressive effects to your epoxy works. Compatible with our epoxy for resinopoxy casting and with most floor epoxies.
Mixed with 100% solids clear epoxy, these pigments reflect light and can give pearlescent colors to prominent variants depending on lighting.
Manual :Mix the pigments with part A of the resin before incorporating part B. Distribute the pigments well, mixing slowly so as not to create air bubbles.
For a solid (opaque) color an 84 g per gallon (3.78 L) pot is sufficient. You can adjust the quantity as you wish to obtain different transparency effects. You can also cast resins of different colors to achieve nuanced effects.
There is no guide or rule as such, do your own tests and let your creativity flow.
Important :The color of the powder before mixing differs slightly from the finished, dry product. (Do not trust the color of the powder)
