Kimana hinges are designed for opening and closing drop-down and lift-up panels and flaps. Their innovative and exclusive design allows the cabinet doors to open vertically even when the bottom of the cabinet rests on another panel or when the top of the cabinet is covered with a decorative panel or a system of lighting.
The minimum panel thickness for installation of a Kimana hinge is 18 mm (23/32 in).
For installation on 16 mm (5/8 in) panels, use adapter # 11116180 or # 11116190

Different combinations of door and cabinet thickness can be made by adjusting the hinges, for panel thicknesses of 18 mm, 19 mm and 20 mm (45/64 in., 3/4 in. and 25/32 in.), or by inserting adapters, for a panel thickness of 16 mm (5/8 in) below the hinge to ensure perfect movement and alignment.
