European Concealed Hinge Template
The Concealed Hinge Jig takes the guesswork out of installing cabinet doors with concealed hinges. Economical and easy to use, this jig ensures proper hinge alignment to ensure proper fit and operation of cabinet doors. Plus, it can be used with an ordinary drill and the included carbide-tipped bit.
This jig allows you to make case holes for concealed hinges (sometimes called “Euro” hinges) using just one drill. It positions the included drill bit in the exact location and offset, allowing you to drill to the ideal depth every time thanks to a stop collar. It's easy to use and ensures you get properly installed cabinet doors.
Concealed hinges are ideal for installing cabinet doors because they are hidden from view, adjustable and work very well. Installing them, however, requires drilling a large hole at a very precise location and depth. The Kreg Concealed Hinge Jig provides exact drilling using only a drill and the included drill bit.
Note: A 1/16" bit (not included) is required for the hinge mounting screws.
This jig features a glass-reinforced nylon base with drill guide hole. Its advancement cams position the bit to provide offset drilling (depending on the hinges used), and the built-in stop collar ensures consistently adequate case depth. It also has drill guide holes for the hinge screw holes. It comes with a high quality carbide bit that ensures good results.
This jig, designed for beginners, is sturdy enough for a professional. Choose your hinges, read the instructions that come with them, then adjust a few jig cams before you get down to business!
