Colored impregnating oil for wood - Primol plus
Oil PRIMOL PLUS from Carver is an impregnation product based on vegetable oil. It is used as a primer to color wood before applying greenol plus finishing oil.
Developed especially for floors, oils PRIMOL PLUS and greenol plus from Carver can be used for all interior wooden surfaces. This combination allows you to color and protect your stressed surfaces in two coats, such as floors. It offers good protection against stains, water and abrasion. Oil PRIMOL PLUS from Carver is easy to apply for both professionals and individuals. It does not overlap and enhances the grain of the wood without masking it.

Preparation :
Surfaces must be clean and free of dust, wax, grease and varnish. Sand with #100 or #120 grit abrasive to facilitate good penetration of the product. Shake the container well PRIMOL PLUS .
Application :
Application can be made with a short-haired roller, brush or pad (sponge, paper, fabric). Apply the oil PRIMOL PLUS of Carver with circular movements until saturation, taking care to spread it evenly, in a thin layer.
Wait 5 to 15 minutes to allow good oil penetration. Wipe excess oil from the surface with a clean cloth, paying particular attention to the joints of the wooden slats. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
PRIMOL PLUS is an impregnating oil and not a varnish, it is therefore necessary to avoid the creation of a film on the surface.
Within 20-30 minutes after application , brush with a single brush (polisher) using a green or red cleaning disc and working at low speed to even out the surface.
After 4 hours approximately if traces of oil have risen to the level of the junction lines and knots of the wood. Wipe or brush again with the polisher fitted with a white or beige disc.
In the case of pronounced colors , leave the pores of the wood wide open, apply the product with a pad very evenly and avoid brushing so as not to remove the color.
The application of PRIMOL PLUS must necessarily be followed by that of the transparent finishing impregnator GREENOL PLUS.
- After 24 hours : moderate and careful use
- After 5 to 7 days : normal use
- After 10 days : cleaning with Carver products
Number of layers:
- A diaper : Only one coat is needed before applying Greenol plus.
- Two layers : You can apply two coats to darken the color by more or less 20%.
Clean tools:
Use LIGNA iso-Diluent.
Interview :
- Regular maintenance: 7-10 days after the last application of Greenol plus (PRIMOL PLUS is not applied alone).
- In the meantime, do not wash the floor with cleaning products. It is possible to remove a localized stain with a cloth dampened with water.
- Always use the recommended cleaning products: Deterol and the Dergos. DETEROL is the detergent for regular maintenance. DERGOS is a protective detergent for occasional use and is used after using DETEROL. Never use commercial detergents.
Warnings:
Shake the container well PRIMOL PLUS before use. In order to avoid drying problems of the PRIMOL PLUS around nodes and join lines, care must be taken to ensure that there is no accumulation of oil in these areas. It is recommended to acclimatize and apply the product at an ambient temperature above 15°C.
Product conservation:
The product can be stored for at least 12 months in a dry, cool place and in its original, unopened packaging.
