PWR DRIVE FIT - Dual Action Finishing Head Screw
SKU: THTDTT95MX
Ideal for joining sturdier angle cuts
Power Drive is Reliable's new premium screw product line. The PWR Drive FIT is the finishing head screw in this range, used for all finishing applications, but especially for joining solid miters (corners). This screw has a very special drilling tip to make corner starts easier and will outperform Type 17 in preventing wood splitting. This feature allows the FIT to be used not only for face screwing, but also on the side of regular 3/4" boards.
Without a doubt, the FIT's greatest asset is its second net. This thread being slower than the first, will produce a tightening effect giving the FIT an assembly strength that no other finishing head screw has. Essentially, since all trim head screws inherently have a very small head that can't really push, the second thread replaces the force that the head of a regular deck screw would produce. The PWR DRIVE FIT is the best of both worlds: the solidity of the assembly with a small head that is very discreet.
The FIT No. 9 x 6, with its very special thread design, is particularly useful for corner cutting assembly and must be one of the most innovative screws to hit the fastener market in the last 15 years. Watch the video and discover the advantages it brings, particularly to stair assemblies on a terrace.
All PWR FIT screws feature the same corrosion-resistant coating used on our structural screws, certified to IBC and IRC building codes.
