Wood finisher - Barnwood effect
Barnwood effect gives an aged effect to the wood, makes it gray and brings out the grain. It is ideal for giving a graying effect on most woods, imitating barn wood that does not age over time. It can be used alone only on certain hardwoods and on white cedar (according to our tests) for other species, combine with the tannin activator. The activator accentuates the reactivity of the wood, modifies the color and considerably increases the effect. The shades obtained with Barnwood Effect vary according to the type of wood (ranging from brownish, gray, black and greenish) and the intensity of the shades can be adjusted by modifying the dilution ratio. Adding tannin activator increases aging and modifies the hue. It can be used on planed, brushed or raw wood.
Preparation:
The wood should be free of any finish. Apply activator as needed and let dry.
Dilution:

Apply by brush, roller, pad applicator, or spray. Wait at least 4 hours before applying the finish.
Finishing:
For the interior, use an oil, a wax or a varnish.
